Who are we?
Team Force Fusion is a young organization, which aims to promote the fields of STEAM – science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. It is founded, by students, for students, to inspire the younger generations to try, experiment and bring to life their ideas. The main goal is to pass on the knowledge, skills and urge to create, to show that engineering is not just complicated “magic”, but quite the opposite – interesting and doable science puzzle.
How is this done?
By competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition, creating variety of different projects within the team and also keeping contact with different companies, cooperating with them on events and engaging in mutually beneficial partnerships. Furthermore, a lot of attention is focused on passing on the knowledge to the younger members and also inspiring more children to join the field of STEAM.
Why do we do that?
The aim of the team goes beyond winning. We strive for something way greater – we aim for challenge, for opportunity to learn, to be part of something great, to inspire others around us to join the world of engineering, to try, to invent and to make dreams come true. We want to have fun, to give the opportunity to every one of us to shine, to experiment, to find her or his place within the world of technology.
The key to the success of the team and the idea lays within the students themselves. The whole concept of the organization is completely built around the “pass it on” motto in the sense that every curious child becomes a student only to become a mentor after that.
How did it all start?
Team Force Fusion (6920) was created on the 18th of June 2018 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Initially started by 5 engineering students and one of their teachers, it has already grown to 30+ members, including high school students, mentors and teachers.
